The claim:
U.S. Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib is accused of breaking down and crying before Congress and thanked Allah that she wasn’t there.
Is it fake news?
Rashida Tlaib gave a passionate speech on behalf of her team and U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez defending her for the emotional breakdown in the aftermath of the January 6th U.S. Capitol riots. She started that speech by thanking Allah. Tlaib is a devout Muslim, so it would not be surprising that she thanked Allah prior to giving her speech.

Verdict: 100% Exactly News
The postings on Twitter sharing her video amount to Muslim shaming at the expense of Tlaib and have no place in political discourse at face value. Tlaib demonstrated in her speech very clearly that she represents equality, noting that she has women of the Muslim faith, women of color, and LGBTQ members on her staff and that she recently purchased a gun because she fears for her safety. In that passionate response, Tlaib was very emotionally distraught. Tlaib confirmed that she was not at the Capitol complex when the riot happened.
